UICI World Headquarters Redevelopment Complete

The Makens Company is pleased to announce the completion of the redevelopment of the UICI world headquarters into a mixed-use area in North Richland Hills, Texas. UICI is a publicly traded company and one of the countries largest insurers of individuals and the self-employed. UICI hires the Makens Company to consult on the redevelopment of its old corporate headquarters. After two years of intense work with tenants, TXDOT, the cities of Hurst and North Richland Hills, and various economic development corporations, the project has been successfully completed. The former office site has been redeveloped into restaurant, office, and retail space featuring such tenants as Johnny Carinos Italian Restaurant and the headquarters of the Lone Star Chapter of the Boy Scouts of America.
